How Do I Start the Referral Process?
If you want to make a referral to Day Treatment, School Based Children’s Intervention Program, Individual and Family Support Services Program or Early Intervention Program or inquire about any of our treatment services, please call us at (519) 252-7900, ext. 247 or walk in between Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. An intake worker will respond to you right away or very shortly after you call/arrive. If you are identifying the need for a service or program that we do not offer, we will help direct you to the most appropriate community resource.
If you want to make a referral for Supervised Access or inquire about their services, please call (519) 252-7900, ext. 135 for the Windsor/Essex County office or (519) 355-1127 for our Chatham/Kent County office.

Children’s Crisis Clinic (at Windsor Regional Children’s Centre)

Offers a walk-in clinic for children, youth and families from ages 0-18. If it is an emergency situation, children under 16 years should be taken to Metropolitan Hospital emergency, and children 16 years and older should be taken to Hotel Dieu Hospital emergency.
Distress Centre of Windsor-Essex County

Offers hotline daily from Noon to Midnight for youth and adults in crisis. The Distress Centre of Windsor-Essex County exists to provide emergency crisis intervention, suicide prevention, emotional support and referrals to community resources by telephone, to people in Windsor and the surrounding area.
Community Crisis Centre

The Community Crisis Centre of Windsor-Essex County is a Ministry of Health and Long Term Care funded program that works in partnership with area hospitals and social agencies to provide crisis response services to individuals 16 years of age and older who are experiencing an acute mental illness and/or psychosocial crisis.
