Board of Directors

The general functions of the Board are to plan and direct policy, make decisions and be responsible to the organization and the community it serves, so that the stated purposes, goals and objectives of the organization can be attained.

Glengarda's Board includes up to twelve members each bringing a diversity of talent, experience, skills, interest and socio-economic background. The membership endeavors to include previous consumers/parents as a part of the Board. The Board is:

  1. composed of persons vitally interested in the work of the organization;
  2. adequate in number to carry out its responsibilities of directing the affairs of the organization;
  3. representative of the areas of concern the organization serves; and
  4. fiscally responsible for the organization and accountable to the Community.

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is composed of the President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer of the Board of Directors. Specific duties of the Executive Committee are to review issues of concern that arise in the day to day management of the agency.

Services Committee

The functions of the Services Committee are to plan, monitor, review and evaluate services conducted by the agency in accordance to the agency strategic plan.
